Sweetness

In my primary school days, I wanted to be a famous dancer, I find it interesting and can even keep myself fit. I always tell my mother how well I did in competition with my friends. My mother had always wanted to see how well I could dance, so I performed a small dance in front of her, but she said, "look at how you dance, it is totally like a statue! You are not flexible at all, with this little skill, you want to be a famous dancer, my daughter, I think you should practise more often instead of boosting your skill!"

I remembered I cried after she told me that, but I know she had meant it well, but I were hurt by what she just said......till now these words had always remained in my heart.

I had stopped pactise dancing since I enter my new secondary school as I joined NPCC (National Police Cadet Corp) not dance, because I know that dancing is not my forte, so I gave up on dancing. After joining NPCC, I started wltivating a greater in it as no one had ever scolded or criticised the way I did all those drills, so I had more confidence in it. Until one day. our Mdm wanted to test us one by one. When it was my turn, I did what I usually do, the Mdm told me to do again and again, then suddenly she said angrily, "You don't understand what I am teaching ot my teaching is too lousy!"

I replied, "NO, MDM!"

"Then, do you know what is your problems?" Her voice lowered down but was still angry.

"I don't know, Mdm!" I said in a rather frighten voice, yet loud.

"Your leg life higher. it should be 90 degrees!" She said.

I listened to her and didi again. Finally, after repeating it many times, she said in a much more gentle voice, "Improve it ok!You had shown some improvement!

"Yes, Mdm!" I replied.

After thus, it was time for us to go, when I were dismissed, I were thinking, " why didn't I cry this time, but feel much more confident?"

The next lesson, I tried my best to do the drills, surprisingly I saw the Mdm smiled at me, with that smile I felt a lot more happy and less stressed as I was scared I would make the same mistake again, I was happy because the Mdm had comfirmed my skill!

Since that day I joined NPCC, I had forgotten all about dancing and put all my interest, my time in NPCC as I wanted to be a police when I grow up, so I can protect my love ones from danger and even make myself stronger.
