Janice Lee is a cheerful and active girl. She can make her friends laugh happily so people like hanging out with her. She is born in a rich family. Her parents will always think about money and forget all about Janice!Her father work as a doctor while her mother work as a designer. Everyday Janice will be give $10 for her pocket money, her friends will always admire her for having born in a rich family, whenever her friends said that, she will answered back with a smile, but deep inside she is thinking,"I don't want any money if I can get more attention from my parents!" She like hanging out with her close friend, Lyn, as she is the only one that will listen to her troubles and her pain and care for her!
Although, Janice really wanted attention form her parent, but she tried to bear it, until one Saturday, she cannot bear it anymore!So she went and asked her mother,"Mummy, tomorrow is yours and daddy's holiday, can we go out to have dinner?"Her mother look disappointed,"OH!My dear Janice, I thought you had always been a good and understanding girl to me and your daddy!Why did you ask that again?Didn't I told you, Mummy and daddy is having such a busy time with our own job!Do you think we have time eating dinner outside?Now be a good girl!Go and finish your work!" Upon hearing this, Janice become very disappointed but she wanted to get some advice from Lyn.
The next day, she went and ask Lyn what should she do, but Lyn just told her that,"Janice, you have no choice but to bear it isn't?"She wanted to follow what Lyn had just told her, but after she get home she really can't bear it when she saw her mother didn't even look at her!So she walk toward her and tell,"Mummy!Can't you just spend a few hour asking what had happen in the school or spend time with me?!"But she continue doing her work but she answered her,"Janice!Be a good girl please!Mummy beg you?Now, go and do your work before Mummy really gets angry!"Janice didn't go to her room but she answered back,"Why?Mummy, why?Why other get to know what is the feel of family love, but I doesn't?I just wanted you and daddy spent some time with me!But...!WHY?I hate Mummy and Daddy!!"After saying this, I rushed back into the room with tears rolling down my cheeks. She didn't sleep but she was sitting on her bed crying..but after a long while she get tired and fall asleep.
The next morning, when she wake up, she thought that after saying all those words, her mother and father will realized their mistakes and spend times with her, but when she walk out of the room she see nobody! She can only see four white walls facing her!She couldn't stand stand the pain anymore!Sp, she decide to run away from home and hide somewhere where no one know where she is!She thought of staying in Lyn's house but if I stay in her house..her mother will informed my mother!So, she had no choice but to sleep at the playground!So, Janice did spent her days there and she realized that her parents were not looking for her at all!She was so sad when she realized that they were not looking for them!She think and think what should she do and suddenly she thought of commit suicide by jumping down from a building!
So, she went to the rooftop of a HDB flat, it was 40 storey high!Although, Janice was scare she still wanted to jump as she felt that she don't have a reason to live in this world!And so, she closed her eyes and when she was about to jump down, she heard someone calling,"JANICE!!"So Janice turn back and saw her mother and father standing there with tears rolling down their cheeks!She was so surprised when she saw her parent crying and so she asked,"Mummy, daddy?"Her father answered her,"It us!My dear daughter don't get shocked or surprised!We know that we neglected your feelings and you have suffered so much!We know that we in our eyes there only money but after we asked everything about you from Lyn we really feel very sorry to let you suffered so much with us!Come here Janice, Daddy promise you that from today onwards we won't neglect you!Upon hearing this, Janice get so happy and she rushed to their hugs and said happily,"Mummy, daddy!I am sorry!And thanks mummy and daddy for willing to spent time with me!"
